Curated Content: How This Zettelkasten Works
Five Note Types, One Unified Architecture
Every piece of content here serves a specific purpose. Atomic Notes contain single concepts fully explained—the vocabulary of this system. Literature Notes capture insights from external sources and connect them to your personal thinking. Hub Notes group related atomic notes for guided exploration. Maps of Content (MOCs) explain how concepts organize within complex domains. Structure Notes synthesize atomic ideas into developed arguments, showing logical chains.
Note Status Reflects Maturity
Content progresses through four stages: Seedling (raw, early-stage ideas), Growing (active development), Evergreen (stable, ready for extensive reference), Archive (historical context, no longer active).
